Ok, ok so that story wasn't the real story, but it sounds much better! It's a little embarrassing, so I'll just come out and say it...Waylon is my sister's husband Travis' twin brother. Yeah, that's right, sisters married to twins, uber cheesy right? It's a running joke that Travis is my brother in law x 2, and my sister is both my sister and my sister in law. We should be on Jerry Springer or something.
Travis and my sister were best friends in high school so although I saw Travis a lot more, I've actually known Waylon (although he doesn't remember me) since I was around 9 or 10. After high school Karen and Travis lost touch for a long time and then reconnected several years ago and ended up getting married. I started getting to know Waylon more and more at family dinners and functions on holidays and birthdays. More and more over time as I got to know him, I really started to think he was something special. And apparently he felt the same because after a while we started dating, and here we are!
